October 23, 2002 Richard Fraenkel and Denis Korepanov of US
AID met with participants of Junior Achievement programs in Nizhny Novgorod
regional center.
Student Company “Orchid” presented their activity and projects: contests,
celebrations and disco parties for school, district and city events, as well as
production of souvenirs, greeting cards and silk paintings. Elementary school
students of 3rd grade school # 15 made a presentation of “We build a House”
activity of JA “Our City” Program. Also in attendance were Nina Chursina, JA
Russia Nizhny Novgorod Regional Centre, Marina Krasilnikova, Director of
American Centre, JA Russia Nizhny Novgorod graduate of 1994, Sergey Shravuyev,
currently Deputy Director Vimm Bill Dann Corporation, and other JA Russia
graduates, currently Higher school students.
