The global issues and the perspectives of relationships between the USA and Russian Federation were discussed. JA Russia’s students presented the JA Global Learning of Business and Economics (GLOBE) program in which their school and their American partner — a school in Syracuse, NY, have been engaged for over 7 years. The GLOBE experience helps students learn about an import-export companies operations and how international companies operate, get familiar with business talks and contracts and learn how to establish reliable contacts with business partners. GLOBE and other JA programs help the students to chose the profile for Higher education. Maxim Tchuvayev is a student of the Moscow Radio Electronic Institute. Dmitry Balyasnikov entered the State Institute of Foreighn Affairs. Alisa Tatarinova and Natasha Sharapova are graduating from school in the current academic year Both girls are active participants of JA Russia’s programs and projects.
During the meeting Senator Richard G.Lugar JA Russia’s representatives had
a chance to exchange with young people who participated in The Freedom
Support Act Secondary School Exchange Program (FLEX Program).
