16.09.2002 The essay by Alexey Kondakov (Voronezh), winner of the Second JA Russia “Laws of Life” Essay Contest
called "A smile gives birth to a smile" will be included to the second international anthology, “Laws of Life: What Matters”, published by Templeton Foundation.

15.09.2002 In the spring - autumn 2002 JA Russia’s representatives participated in the U.S. Congress-authorized Open World Program at the Library of Congress.
The program called the Russian Leadership Program, founded in 1999, brings Russian leaders to communities across the United States for a brief intensive visits and have a hands-on experience in political, economic and civic life of the American society.

28.08.2002 JA Russia’s students and graduates and their teacher Nadezhda I. Bykova (Moscow school # 1927) participated in the Meeting with the Senator Richard G.Lugar (Indiana, U.S.A.) at Moscow Marriott Hotel.
The global issues and the perspectives of relationships between the USA and Russian Federation were discussed.
