March 6th 2012 Accenture employees in Moscow hosted a master-class for participants of JA Enterprise without Borders Program (EwB)
The participants were Accenture volunteers and two JA Russia Student companies – Barynya and Plush Style from Educational Centre # 1863 of Moscow.
Students presented their projects, demonstrated their products samples, and shared plans for participation in the International Student Company Festival in Riga.
Accenture’s volunteers were attentive to and enthusiastic about young entrepreneurs’ projects, and discussed in details many aspects giving numerous useful practical tips and recommendations. The event also included presentation of activities of Accenture followed by engaging stories of the everyday’s work of employees who shared with students interesting examples of consulting and experience related to international business.
Master-class dedicated to global business practices is one of a series of activities that demonstrate long-term and active collaboration between Accenture and Junior Achievement in Russia in the framework of international educational program Enterprise without Borders – EwB. The program is designed to give students running mini-companies the opportunity to create cross-border international partnerships, to share good ideas, knowledge and skills in the area of youth entrepreneurship.
Accenture’s volunteers helped young people providing them hands-on experiences to learn about global business environment and try their hand at doing business globally while they are still in school.

Students’ feedbacks
Initially we were seriously concerned about the future visit to Accenture’s office to discuss our project – we imagined many people looking at us stone-faced and convincingly criticizing each word. Everything was “exactly the opposite.” A cohesive team of the Company’s employees, hard-working, energetic and friendly young people, were obviously interested and curious about the work we do. Of course, such attention is just necessary to us at these initial steps! We would like to express our gratitude to Accenture’s volunteers. You instilled in us the necessary energy and faith in our work, which are required for the first steps in the international cooperation, participation in the international project and international competition. Student Company “Plush-Style”
Before our trip to International Student Company Festival in Riga we participated in the master-class-room hosted by Accenture’s employees who gave us much advice and helped us improve our project. They recommended how to improve design of the presentation, how to attract customers during the trade fair, and how to feel more confident performing during the competition. All tips have been really, really helpful, and we’ll use them working on our project, as well as in other activities, and our future lives. Volunteers have told us many interesting things about Accenture, and gave an insight into their work, which is a real dream work and all the atmosphere of warmth, comfort and mutual support, which we can strive for. There is something for us to think about before choosing the future profession!!! Thanks a lot!
